Position Vacancy: Programs Director

The Asian Pacific Community in Action (APCA) is a Phoenix-based non-profit agency with a mission to improve the health of Asian/Pacific Islanders in Maricopa County. APCA is seeking a full-time Programs Director to oversee initiatives in the areas of hepatitis B, diabetes, tobacco prevention and women’s health. General responsibilities will include the planning, implementation and evaluation of culturally proficient health promotion and disease prevention programs. Duties will include supervising outreach staff, ensuring optimal program services through planning and quality assurance, writing grant proposals and program reports, and representing the agency at external meetings. The Programs Director will report to the Executive Director. Salary range: $42,000 - $48,000 DOE.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have a master’s degree in public health or a related field and at least three years experience in managing community and/or public health programs; or an equivalent combination of experience, education and training.
